Four Titles Available, and Dota 2 Requests Now Name the Player's Side
Fortnite, Valorant, Dota 2 and League of Legends are Available and settle automatically on recorded video. Dota 2 requests must now say which side the player is on. Here is what changed, and where to read more.
Four titles are now Available on PLLAY Vision: Fortnite, Valorant, Dota 2 and League of Legends. Each one met PLLAY's commercial bar and passed automatic-settlement certification on recorded video, so when Vision reads a clear result, it settles on its own. Our other titles are in Beta, which means not yet commercially available, and each one becomes Available when it clears the same bar. The status page shows which is which.
Available does not mean Vision guesses. When it can't be sure, it holds the result for a person instead. Your integration handles three states: settled, held and voided. A hold is a waiting state, not an error: wait for event.settled or event.voided.
Each title is read from its own end screen, from the player's own view. Fortnite reads VICTORY ROYALE or YOU PLACED #N. Valorant and League of Legends read the VICTORY or DEFEAT banner. Dota 2 reads RADIANT VICTORY or DIRE VICTORY. All four use the market kind pov with exactly one WIN and one LOSE option, and a clip without a clear end screen is held, not guessed.
Dota 2 requests must now say which side the player is on. The victory screen names the winning side, not the player, so send market.pov_side with every Dota 2 event: home if the player is on Radiant, away if on Dire. This is enforced in the production API. A Dota 2 event without it is rejected straight away with 400 pov_side_required, pointing at market.pov_side, before anything is queued, so a result is never mapped to the wrong player. Fortnite, Valorant and League of Legends name the player's outcome directly and don't need pov_side.
The published partner API spec at /artifacts/partner-api/partner-api-v1.yaml documents pov_side and the pov_side_required error, with examples for Fortnite, League of Legends and Dota 2. Each title has its own guide: /developers#fortnite, /developers#valorant, /developers#dota2 and /developers#league.
The live demo on the home page now opens on a PLLAY-owned Arena Dodge clip as Vision reads it. Pick a sample clip and see its receipt: settled, held or voided.
Setup is arranged with the PLLAY team for each partner. We issue a sandbox key first, so you can build the whole flow, including the held state, before going live. Platforms that want to bring results from these titles into their own product can start at access@pllay.io.
