League of Legends Results, Read in the Player's Own Client Language
PLLAY Vision reads the League of Legends end splash in the language the player's client is set to. Here is which languages are Supported, and how a language gets there.
League of Legends players don't all see VICTORY and DEFEAT. A Spanish client shows VICTORIA or DERROTA, a Czech client shows VÍTĚZSTVÍ or PROHRA, and a Brazilian Portuguese client shows VITÓRIA or DERROTA. PLLAY Vision reads the end-of-game splash in the player's own client language, so a partner doesn't have to ask players to switch their game to English before a match can settle.
Supported today: English, Spanish, Czech and Portuguese (Brazil). The other League client languages, including French, German, Korean, Japanese and Chinese, are listed as Coming soon. The full list is on /vision under Supported game languages.
A language is listed as Supported only after Vision reads a real League clip in that language correctly. Vision reads the end-of-game screen in the supported languages.
Nothing changes in the request. League uses the same integration in every language: the adapter lol_result.json, game_slug league-of-legends and the market kind pov with exactly one WIN and one LOSE option, with no market.pov_side. Results come back settled, held or voided, by polling the event or by webhook.
Fortnite, Valorant, Dota 2 and League of Legends are Available. Our other titles are in Beta, and each one becomes Available when it clears the same bar.
The League of Legends integration guide is at /developers#league, and the partner API spec is at /artifacts/partner-api/partner-api-v1.yaml. Setup is arranged with the PLLAY team for each partner, starting with a sandbox key. Platforms that want League results from players on any of the Supported languages can start at access@pllay.io.
