PLLAY Skill-Based Prediction Contest Official Rules

These rules describe PLLAY's full Contest experience launching at Phase 2 of our soft launch.
During the current beta phase, PLLAY operates as a skill-demonstration platform only. No cash-prize Contests are active during beta. The sponsor Contests described below — including the standard 60/22/18 pool allocation (with the Founding Creator Program 60/25/15 exception in § 5) and cash payouts to winners and Creators — activate when PLLAY Contests LLC formally opens the sponsor program at Phase 2. We are publishing these rules now for transparency and to give participants a complete picture of how the platform will work at general availability.

0. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter PLLAY prediction contests. Free credits are available to all eligible participants upon signup and daily thereafter. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Specifically:
- 100 free prediction credits are granted on signup. These credits enter contests on identical terms to purchased credits and any winnings from them are real.
- 10 additional free prediction credits are available to claim every UTC day from any account in good standing.
- The mail-in alternate method of entry described in § 7 below is available year-round.
1. Sponsor

2. Eligibility
Open to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older located in eligible states. See/eligible-states for the current list. Employees of Sponsor and immediate family are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
3. How to enter
Purchase prediction credits and allocate them to a prediction outcome inside the PLLAY app. Each prediction presents two or more outcome options determined by real-world events.
4. Skill component
Each participant's payout share is weighted by their historical accuracy on the same creator's predictions (per-creator skill score), or their global accuracy when insufficient per-creator history exists. Skill multipliers range from 0.90× (below 40% accuracy) to 1.40× (75%+ accuracy with 10+ predictions). See/how-skill-works for the full scoring methodology. Outcomes are determined by real-world events; no chance element is under the operator's control.
5. Prize structure and revenue allocation
Each Contest entry fee paid in Credits is allocated as follows: 60% is paid to skilled winners as the contest prize pool, 22% is paid to the hosting Creator as compensation for hosting and audience contribution, and 18% is retained by Sponsor (PLLAY Contests LLC) and operator (PLLAY Labs Incorporated) for platform operation, compliance, and customer support. Founding Creator Program exception: the first 100 approved Creators receive a 25% Creator allocation (60/25/15) through July 2027 — a single fixed date shared by the entire founding cohort (up to 12 months, depending on when a given Creator is approved), after which the standard 60/22/18 allocation applies. Winning participants share the 60% prize pool weighted by stake × skill multiplier. Individual payouts are capped at 3× a participant's stake to prevent runaway. Payouts are credited to the participant's Credit balance immediately upon settlement and may be redeemable for cash subject to identity verification.
Stripe payment-processing fees are not included in the allocation above and are disclosed separately at the time of payment. When a participant purchases Credits, applicable card or bank-processing fees are shown as a line item on the checkout receipt. When Sponsor or operator pays funds to a participant or Creator, applicable transfer or payout fees are similarly disclosed and deducted from the recipient's payout amount.
Minimum-pool requirement: A Contest must reach at least 10 distinct participants or a total entry-pool value of $50 (whichever occurs first) before its scheduled close time, or the Contest is voided and all entry Credits are refunded in full to participants. This protects participants from settlements where a small pool yields trivial payouts.
6. Odds of winning
Odds vary based on the number of participants in a prediction, the distribution of stakes across outcomes, and each participant's skill multiplier. There is no fixed "house odds." Approximate per-prediction win probability for an average-skill participant on a balanced two-outcome prediction is ~50%; payout amount varies with pool size and participant skill score.
7. Free alternate method of entry (AMOE)
No purchase is necessary to enter. To request a free Credit balance equivalent to one standard pack ($5) for a specific Contest, mail a hand-written 3×5 card with your full name, mailing address, email associated with your PLLAY account, the Contest identifier you wish to enter, and the words "PLLAY FREE ENTRY" to: PLLAY Contests LLC, AMOE Department, 12828 Willow Centre Drive, Ste D142, Houston, TX 77066. A mail-in entrant receives one free entry per Contest, on the same per-Contest cadence as a paying participant. Requests are processed within 14 business days.
8. Settlement and disputes
Outcomes are determined by Sponsor based on the underlying real-world event. Participants may dispute outcomes within 24 hours of settlement via in-app dispute. Sponsor's decision on disputed outcomes is final.
9. Taxes
Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prize winnings. U.S. participants who receive cash payouts of $600 or more in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for tax-reporting purposes.
10. Disputes — binding arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to participation in any PLLAY contest shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association in the United States. Participants waive the right to pursue claims as a class. Small-claims court remains available for qualifying disputes.

PLLAY contests are skill-based prediction contests, not gambling or wagering services. No representation is made that participation will yield any specific result. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
