PLLAY Gears Up for Its First Live Predictions This Spring
After months of building the core mechanics, PLLAY is preparing to bring its first prediction pools to real streams this spring.
The past few months have been about the parts an audience never sees: how a pool is structured, how skill-weighting gets calculated, how settlement and disputes get handled without a person reviewing every single case. That groundwork is what the next phase builds on.
This spring, the plan is to bring the first version of PLLAY to real streams with real creators — starting in credits rather than cash, so the mechanics can be proven out before anything real-money is on the table.
"Starting small" means a limited set of creators and titles at first, not a wide-open launch. We'd rather learn what breaks with a small, closely-watched group than find out at scale.
We'll have more to share on specific creators and titles as we get closer. For now, this is a marker: the building phase is turning into a launch phase.
"We've spent months on the parts nobody sees so the parts everybody sees can be simple," said Shawn Gunn, Founder & CEO of PLLAY. "Starting small and in credits is deliberate — we want to earn the real-money conversation, not rush it."
